Christmas in Brazil

Many have asked us what we will be doing down here in the Southern Hemisphere for Christmas so I wanted to include some pictures of our Christmas week.

Anything, I mean ANYTHING that involves the concepts of "Christmas" and "beach" is sounding really cool (or is that "warm"?) to me right now.

Its kind of chilly in the other half of the world.

Merry Christmas to all of you!! Your Christmas present will probably arrive 4-6 weeks late, but that just means you have that much longer to look forward to it!! :)
It sounds so weird to celebrate Christmas in the middle of summer, although Abilene's weather will get pretty close! 75 is the expected high for Christmas Day!! LOL
Anyway, send my love and Christmas wishes to everyone! Love you guys!

Randy & Jennifer,

I love to see the pictures of all of you, especially Kelton, as he is growing and changing so much. Guess we can have a vicarious experience in watching him grow up. We miss you guys. We fed the ACU basketball team last night. They have a player, Tiago Souza, from Brazil. There is another player here from a country in Africa. He spoke no English when he came here just three years ago, but was roommates with Thomas Onger at Midland College. Blessed speaks Portugeese, and I asked the coach last night if Tiago and Blessed talk to each other in Portugeese. The coach replied, "yes, when they don't want us to know what they're saying!" Isn't it amazing how language can divide us or unite us.

Hope you guys have a great new year. Grace & Peace.

Patsy
