Lunch with our new friends

Before I tell about our great lunch with friends I just have to comment on my amusement that many of my stories are about food in one form or another.

Two Sundays ago we had the blessing of spending Sunday afternoon with some of our new friends eatting lunch at their house. Their names are Andre and Lili (pronounced Lee-li) and their ~9 month old baby Pedro Gabriel. What a great time. One of the other couples from our team and another couple from the church also joined us and we talked for literally hours just sitting on the floor and enjoying each other's company.

It is such a rich blessing to have a church already here in Salvador. They have been so helpful and encouraging. It is a perfect example of what it means to have the family of God all over the world. It has made this move much better.
