continuing on furlough
we are headed out from California in a couple of hours. it has been a great time visiting with family and getting to know the church family here at North County. Our time here was encouraging and motivating for our work in Brazil. We now have faces to go with some of the names and many more names and faces to remember. Some of our highlights were our interview with Tim Spivey (the preacher) during worship on Wednesday, the men's breakfast, the time with the staff and elders, and of course time with fellow brothers and sisters who helped Jennifer become the woman she is today.
We also had a great time with Jennifer's family. We stayed with them while here giving Kelton and his cousin, Jonathan, tons of time to play. We are able to take a few days and visit a railway museum and a airplane graveyard. We also visited the Santa Ana zoo. It is going to be sad leaving everyone.
In the next few weeks we will be visiting friends in Dallas, Levelland, Lubbock, and then returning to Abilene for a few days before returning to Brazil. Please keep us in your prayers as we begin moving around the country again. While you are praying please remember a friend of ours in Dallas who recently lost his job (God knows his name). Please keep him and his family in your prayers.
